Small but Powerful
The R-sim is a device designed to temporarily unlock iPhone mobile phones. Very important to clarify this: ONLY WORKS ON IPHONE.
The quickest way to describe it is a chip with embedded firmware that is capable of unlocking the IMEI so that an iPhone cell phone can make and receive calls. In a few words, you reconfigure your apple cell phone allowing you to use it with any telephone company in the world.
And all this is done without the need to submit the team to other release processes that can affect or misconfigure the device.

What does an R-Sim look like?
Aesthetically, an R-Sim is small and thin, enough to fit a SIMCARD into its slot. Of course, this tool comes with an integrated chip where the firmware is installed and can be read by almost any Apple mobile phone.

How does an R-Sim work?
To make an R-Sim work, you just have to place the simcard inside it and insert it into the iPhone phone. When it is turned on, a menu of options to configure will appear and later it will detect the signal of the inserted SIM. It is not a common unlocking process as it only works while the R SIM is inside the phone and certain conditions may affect its functionality.

Versions and more versions...
Each version of iPhone has had an exclusive R-Sim, at least by gamma and model. Not all R-Sims work to unlock all devices and that is why they started serving the largest market, the iPhone. With a specific R-Sim, an Apple phone will be able to have a signal anywhere and in fact the latest versions allow iOS to be updated without running the risk of rendering the R-Sim useless.
Apple has focused on producing phones that come with factory unlocked phone service and thus prevent outsiders from tampering with the device and making it lose its warranty. However, in some countries the unlocked iPhone has not yet arrived, so the fame of the R SIM has increased. Anyone can install and run an R-Sim without advanced knowledge.

How to install an R-Sim?
VERY IMPORTANT: We are going to explain how it works and how to use it, however our RECOMMENDATION is that if you are going to use it and you don't know how to do it, GO TO A SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN.
To install and configure an R-Sim it is important to have the phone on with sufficient battery, the tool to remove the simcard and the R-Sim for the model to be unlocked, at hand.
- Open the slot and take out the simcard that is not detected, normally it will show an error message in the network or simcard not detected.
- Remove the simcard and the tray to proceed with the installation.
- Place the R-Sim in the lower part of the tray, securing the small tabs well that will prevent displacement.
- Place the simcard on the R-Sim matching the contacts of the chip and those of the card.
- Reinsert the tray with the R-Sim and the simcard already installed
If the R-Sim is the right one, it should automatically detect the network and appear at the top of the screen, the signal bars next to the name of the operator. If this process does not happen then you should proceed with the manual configuration.

How to set up a manual R-Sim
- Access the R-Sim menu from the notification tray.
- Choose the name of the original iPhone operating company from the list offered by the application.
- If you do not get the list, ask for automatic detection, at this point the program will request the serial number of the operator you want to unlock, this number can be obtained by calling the operators directly.
- Click start and let the process continue
- Restart the phone to end the connection and access the desired network.
Disadvantages of using R-Sim
Some disadvantages when using an R-Sim are the following:
- If an outdated R-Sim is purchased and the operating system is updated, it may become unusable for that terminal, so it will be necessary to make a new expense.
- In some devices the signal may be intermittent, there may be data service drops or interference in calls.
- It is not a permanent unlock of the device, if the R-Sim is damaged, lost or damaged, the phone will no longer detect the network of the simcard so it will be necessary to buy another one.
- Although some phones have access to 3G and 4G networks, some R-Sims can only access the 2G network.
- When receiving calls, the numbers may not be recognized, even if they are stored in the phone's memory; In other cases, automatic services such as balance inquiries and customer service may have to be dialed manually to access them.
Is it safe to use the R-Sim?
Clearly, the R-Sim is an excellent alternative for iPhone users, because it allows them to unlock their devices practically automatically. The procedure is very safe, and although it has its drawbacks, these can be foreseen before configuration.
